Job summary

CHT USA Inc. in Cassopolis, MI is seeking a Chemical Operator (GMP) for the 3rd shift to operate equipment and semi-automatic systems to transform chemicals into high-quality products.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED (higher degrees preferred), 5+ years of operator experience, forklift certification (or within 90 days), and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics). A 6% shift premium applies and a comprehensive benefits package starts on day 31.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• 5+ years of chemical operator or related experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build production batches and complete batch documentation in compliance with cGMP and GDP standards
• Load/unload chemicals, operate pumps and filters, and monitor temperatures and run speeds
• Perform in-process testing and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (6S)
• Collaborate with QC, R&D, customer service, and production planning teams
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and submit repair requests
• Train other employees and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards while meeting KPI targets
