Chemical Operator (2nd Shift 2-10:30pm EST)

Solid, family owned local company is looking for a Chemical Operator (2nd Shift Only) - Full time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safely manage chemical processes while ensuring product quality and compliance.
  2. Operate production equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  3. Monitor and adjust instruments, gauges, and valves to regulate chemical flow, ensuring precise reactions.
  4. Handle material transfers, operate pumps, and assist with raw material unloading and equipment maintenance.
  5. Troubleshoot operational issues and perform safety protocols, including LOTO and handling hazardous lines.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Willingness to work overtime and follow all safety regulations, including PPE use.
  2. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
  3. Ability to work in a team, follow both verbal and written instructions, and adapt to different environments.
  4. Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment operation is a plus.
