Job summary

Entegris in Aurora, Illinois is seeking a Chemical Operator for the 1st shift (6 am–2 pm, Monday–Friday). You will produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment, weigh and verify raw materials, and enter data in the ERP system while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of production or warehousing experience, HS Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and a reliable attendance record.

The Role:

Our site in Aurora Illinois is seeking aChemicalOperator This is an opening for a Chemical Operator in theSlurriesProduction Division onthe 1st Shift- an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those withchemical batchmanufacturing experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.

• Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.

• Receive raw material and containers.

• Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.

• Perform required quality testing and inspections.

• Maintain safe and clean working environment.

• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies etc.

• Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.

• Contribute to plant safety initiatives.

• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).

What We Seek:

Technical- Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.

Computer- Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.

Behavioral- Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in ourenvironment.

Education- HS Diploma/GED Required

Experience- One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.

Physical -Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Shift Schedule:

• 1st shift, 6 am to 2 pm, Monday-Friday

• Overtime may be required, based on business needs, and weekend shifts will vary when needed.

• We care about cleanliness,and the use ofPPE. PPEincludes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses.Additional PPE required for certain job functions, such asfull-facemask.
