Location: Rock Hill, SC, approximately 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC, and 70 miles north of Columbia, SC. Rock Hill offers scenic riverfront views, numerous parks, historic downtown with dining and retail options, and is home to three colleges including Winthrop University.
We are seeking full-time, entry-level CHEMICAL OPERATORS. The role involves operating chemical plant machinery and processes, monitoring instruments, adjusting valves and gauges, and interpreting chemical reactions.
The role may expose you to loud noises, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, flammable materials, high places, and moving machinery. You must understand PPE use, including full-face respirators when required. Physical requirements include navigating stairs/ladders, lifting up to 55 pounds, and vision abilities such as close vision and focus adjustment.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent.
