CHEMICAL OPERATOR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking full-time, entry-level CHEMICAL OPERATORS. The role involves operating chemical plant machinery and processes, monitoring instruments, adjusting valves and gauges, and interpreting chemical reactions.

Daily responsibilities include:

1. Operate various process equipment such as reaction systems, distillation systems, filters, extractors, reactors, pumps, and centrifuges following prescribed procedures.
2. Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
3. Set up and adjust control devices.
4. Monitor and record reactions, noting changes in properties and composition.
5. Adjust valves and controls to maintain system parameters.
6. Keep logs of gauge readings, production, and equipment issues.
7. Troubleshoot process and equipment problems.

The role may expose you to loud noises, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, flammable materials, high places, and moving machinery. You must understand PPE use, including full-face respirators when required. Physical requirements include navigating stairs/ladders, lifting up to 55 pounds, and vision abilities such as close vision and focus adjustment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent.

Shift details:

• 1st shift: Mon-Fri, 4:45 am - 1:00 pm
• 2nd shift: Mon-Fri, 11:45 am - 8:00 pm
• 3rd shift: Mon-Thu, 7:30 pm - 5:30 am
