Job summary

United Initiators is seeking motivated individuals to join our Elyria Operations team for a long-term career in chemical manufacturing with strong pay and benefits.

As a Chemical Operator, you will monitor and operate mixing, blending, and packaging equipment, load materials, and ensure safety and quality. We offer $22/hour starting pay, $23/hour after 90 days, a 4% annual bonus, Day 1 medical/dental/vision, 80 hours vacation after one year, a 401(k) plan, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights, weekends, holidays, overtime).
• Regularly lift 55 lbs and occasionally up to 110 lbs.
• Stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform physical tasks.
• Able to wear a respirator and other PPE.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Color vision.
• Must pass fit-to-work and employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixing, blending, and packaging equipment.
• Load raw materials and manage chemical processes.
• Perform batch documentation, SAP labeling, and inventory scanning.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE, including respirators.
• Conduct cleaning and changeovers, maintain housekeeping.
• Palletize, wrap, and stage finished goods for shipment.

About the Role - What You’ll Do

Chemical Operators support manufacturing, blending, and packaging operations to meet customer demands while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
