Your Role: Packaging Operator

  • We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who takes pride in delivering high-quality products. The Packaging Operator will be responsible for tasks including receiving materials, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document all activities and maintain a clean, organized facility.
  • Unload incoming materials from delivery vehicles and inspect for quality issues.
  • Label materials using system-generated labels.
  • Conduct material identification testing and print corresponding reports.
  • Use electric walk-behind tow motors and manual pallet jacks to move/stage materials.
  • Generate records and labels from approved templates.
  • Manually portion chemicals (e.g., amino acids) according to SOPs and batch records.
  • Sample products for Quality Control (QC) testing.
  • Clean and label finished product containers.
  • Inspect materials/products and perform room clearances.
  • Box, palletize, and wrap finished goods.
  • Load pallets of finished goods into delivery vehicles using walk-behind tow motor.
  • Complete all documentation (batch records, logbooks, forms, etc.) using Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA principles.
  • Perform SAP system transactions as needed.
  • Immediately report any deviations or issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE, and utensils.
  • Proactively promote and contribute to a safe work environment by identifying hazards and offering safety improvements.
  • Participate in company training programs and complete all assigned electronic training on time.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and accept feedback constructively.
  • Follow all corporate and site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Support and contribute to process improvements, safety, quality, and 5S initiatives.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized following housekeeping standards.
  • Perform duties safely and in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Use required PPE as specified by company policies.
  • Maintain professionalism with coworkers, management, and visitors.
  • Follow relevant requirements under IPEC GMP / ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Management Systems, as applicable.
  • Seek supervisor guidance as needed to ensure accurate task completion.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to move items over 50 pounds with assistance or proper equipment.
