Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Chemical Plant Operator in Fresno, TX to run equipment and manage chemical batches according to standard formulas and SOPs. You will monitor batch quality, load raw materials, operate material handling equipment, and document data in SAP.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing and basic QC experience, with strong attention to safety and LOTO procedures. The role includes 12-hour rotational shifts and potential overtime.

This role is responsible for running equipment to process chemical batches by following standard formulas, applicable instructions and current standard operating procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Review daily production schedules and ensures the raw materials required are available
• Follow process instructions and accurately add raw materials to reactors
• Perform routine observation of product during the process to ensure batch quality. Report any out-of-spec raw material, premixes or mixed batches and consults with Quality personnel on any batch adjustments.
• Properly clean out reactors
• Operate fork trucks, palletizers, scales, pumps and other material handling equipment to transport raw material and finished product
• Transferring product into various containers including tanks, tank trucks, tote bins, drums etc.
• Perform building and equipment preventative maintenance
• Manage Autonomous Maintenance activities
• Understand and performs Lock/Out, Tag/Out (LOTO)
• Complete paperwork and enter batch information into SAPPerform other duties as assigned

Position Details:

• Plant location: Fresno, TX
• Work week and shift: 12-hour rotational DuPont shift and overtime as needed.
• Compensation: $28 / hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of manufacturing experience working with systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data and tracking mixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.)
• 1 year of experience performing basic Quality Control tests (take samples, perform pH tests)
• 1 year of experience simultaneously mixing several tanks and accurately complete related documents

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $25.55 - $38.32. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
