Job summary

Tech Met, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Milling Support Technician I to join our Glassport facility. The role supports chemical milling production operations, working daylight hours Monday through Friday.

A background in manufacturing and the ability to lift and handle parts safely are preferred. You will prepare parts, apply coatings, perform surface cleaning, and assist with multiple production processes, including FAA and non-FAA compliant tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a non-metric measuring tape.
• Strong teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Able to perform heavy lifting (30–100 lbs) with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer parts for chemical milling under supervision.
• Perform dip, roll, and brush coating on parts.
• Grind/ grit-blast part areas prior to coating.
• Maintain tank levels with coatings and solvents.
• Ensure surface cleanliness for uniform maskant adhesion.
• Support FAA and non-FAA compliant processes.
