Job summary

Trident Consulting seeks an Operations Technician for the Chemical Manufacturing team in Carlsbad, CA. The role is onsite on a 1-year contract, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM shift, with lifting up to 50 lbs and potential respirator use.

Responsibilities include manual and automated vessel decontamination, chemical packaging, hazardous waste consolidation, acid washing, and assisting with unloading and troubleshooting. Forklift certification preferred; strong teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear a full-face air-purifying respirator
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• SAP highly preferred
• Comfort using hand tools such as torque wrench
• Day-to-day decontamination, acid washing, nitrogen purge
• Forklift certification preferred; on-site training provided
• Independent and team work

Responsibilities

• Manual vessel decontamination
• Automated vessel decontamination
• Chemical packaging (filling with chemical)
• Perform hazardous waste consolidation
• Acid wash stainless steel and quartz vessels
• Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment
• Assist with unloading trucks and receiving
• Assist Engineering with troubleshooting system issues
• Use drawings and instructions to assemble vessels
• Inspect vessels and documentation for correctness
