Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician for a contract role on-site in Texas to support laboratory testing and technical documentation within the specialty chemicals field.

Responsibilities include conducting tests per ASTM/ISO specs, calibrating equipment, and meticulously documenting results. You will manage records, organize procedures, and contribute to SharePoint/ELN repositories while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on laboratory testing experience in chemical, materials, manufacturing support, product development, or technical service environments.
• Proficiency with standardized test methods such as ASTM, ISO, or equivalent industry standards.
• Strong background in technical documentation, data archiving, and records management.
• Experience with document management tools, knowledge repositories, SharePoint, or ELNs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on laboratory testing of chemical and material samples according to ASTM, ISO, internal, or customer specifications.
• Safely operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrument lines.
• Accurately document testing results and maintain operational logs.
• Organize, format, digitize, and review laboratory procedures, test reports, batch records, and technical documentation.
• Support migration, organization, and upkeep of technical records within document repositories, SharePoint, and internal knowledge management systems.
• Uphold high standards of documentation accuracy and adhere to laboratory safety protocols, SOPs, and EHS regulations.
