Scope:

The Wet Lab Technician will perform lab analyses using equipment such as burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometers, balances, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS, and others. Responsibilities include conducting analyses, reporting results, chemical handling, and participating in safety training due to exposure to hazardous waste.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform chemical analyses and special tests in the wet process areas.
  2. Report analysis results to Plating Managers and Process Engineers accurately.
  3. Handle chemical additions and prepare baths.
  4. Maintain accurate departmental documentation and records.
  5. Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment and chemical controllers.
  6. Engage with vendors and visitors as needed.
  7. Manage lab inventory and assist in writing procedures.
  8. Operate all departmental equipment effectively.
  9. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and waste.
  10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, using all required PPE.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Strong knowledge of process chemistry.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in the wet process or related chemical environment.

Additional Job Details:

This role involves routine tasks, limited judgment, and close supervision, typically requiring less than one year of related experience. Training on chemical handling and safety procedures will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers comprehensive health and well-being benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and others, starting the month after hire. Salary ranges are approximately $42,721 to $67,527, depending on experience, skills, and location. Bonus and shift premiums may apply.
