Job summary

Materion is seeking a Laboratory Technician to analyze, test, and inspect materials, ensuring specifications are met. You will perform daily production and R&D lab tasks, chemical analysis, sample preparation, and data entry, while assisting in various laboratory functions and minor equipment maintenance.

College experience in relevant technical areas (mathematics, chemistry, material science, any engineering discipline) is helpful.Prior laboratory experience in chemical analysis, safe chemical handling, and general knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus but is not required.Some exposure to ISO 17025 Quality System is helpful.Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude, be highly analytical with acceptable writing and record-keeping skills.Must be computer literate and have excellent interpersonal skills.Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.Must be willing to work either 2nd or 3rd shifts.
