Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum working in a research lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical reconciliations for all laboratories on the main UGA campus and satellite campuses.
• Train chemical receiving staff and laboratory staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct laboratory safety assessments or inspections as assigned by supervisor or program needs.
• Assist with lab safety reviews and determine which chemical products are hazardous or non-hazardous.
• Be part of the hazardous materials spill response team (on-call).
