Job summary

Texas Instruments in Lehi, UT seeks an experienced Chemical & Gas Engineer to drive the design, optimization, and safe operation of chemical, specialty gas, bulk gas, and slurry utility systems. This role focuses on balancing safety, reliability, and efficiency to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.

You will lead projects from concept to startup, develop critical system documentation, and mentor staff while collaborating with operations, maintenance, EHS, and engineering to ensure compliant,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design and improvement of chemical, specialty gas, bulk gas, slurry, and related high-purity utility systems.
Provide engineering support for operations, maintenance, and incident response.
Develop and maintain P&IDs, process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and sequences of operation.
Drive reliability and risk-based engineering through root cause analysis, FMEAs, system assessments, and improvement roadmaps.
Partner with operations, maintenance, EHS, and engineering teams to improve system performance and safe operation.
Mentor engineers and technicians to strengthen technical capability.
