Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. seeks a college student for a Summer 2027 chemical engineering internship in Knoxville, TN. The paid, in-person program runs full-time (40 hours/week) and offers mentoring from experienced engineers within a multidisciplinary firm serving nationwide clients.

You will gain hands-on experience in process modeling, PFDs, heat and material balances, equipment specifications, and downstream utility systems, using ChemCAD and related tools.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• At least 18 years of age.
