Y-12 Engineering is seeking a student intern for the Summer 2027 program in Oak Ridge, TN. The internship encompasses Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Fire Protection, Mechanical, Nuclear, and other disciplines, running 10–12 weeks from May 24 to July 29, 2027.

Candidates must be pursuing/completed an ABET-accredited engineering/physical science degree and maintain a 3.0 GPA, with U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Engineering or Physical Science from ABET-accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects during the internship.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for ongoing projects.
• Learn from experienced professionals and participate in hands-on tasks.
