What You'll Do

As a Chemical Engineer / Chemistry Intern, you will gain manufacturing experience through working with Lab Chemist, Operations, and Management while completing determined projects and applying education. Some duties will include:

• Provide laboratory support to plant operations.
• Perform all routine quality control tests on all produced materials to include mixed acid, dynamite, emulsion, cast boosters, PETN, nitroglycerin, etc.
• Provide document control support for all operations
• Provide ISO 9001:2015support for laboratory
• Understand shipping requirements for hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate ATF records for explosive materials, from receipt to interim magazine storage to disposition using the Daily Summary of Magazine Transaction (DSMT) forms.
• Report abnormal test results to Lab Lead Chemist
• Provide assistance when needed for the plant in any ISO, Quality, Environmental, or administrative needs.
