Redwood Materials is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join the Operations group supporting battery recycling and related operations. You will work with operations and maintenance teams to improve processes, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to pilot plant design and scaling.

The role requires 3-5 years in chemical plant operations or design, experience with large-scale processing, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. A Bachelor's or Master's in a related field is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years experience in Chemical Plant Operations and/or Design and Commissioning.
• Large scale industrial processing experience.
• Operational support and track record of solving difficult chemical and metallurgical process problems and making plant improvements.
• Testwork and pilot plant design and operating experience.
• Process modelling (HSCSIM, SysCAD, METSIM) and equipment sizing linking testwork and pilot plant operation to real project implementation.
• Trade-off studies and financial evaluation.
• Process plant design and commissioning.
• Track record of solving difficult chemical and metallurgical processing problems.
• Metallurgical processing context of this experience is desired but it isn’t essential.
