Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Delivery, warehouse, route-driving, chemical-handling, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicle and read product labels and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, deliver, and unload vehicle wash chemicals and related supplies.
• Follow delivery routes and communicate delays or concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Verify products, quantities, labels, and delivery locations before leaving the warehouse and at the time of delivery.
• Obtain customer signatures or other required proof of delivery.
• Complete delivery records, mileage logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow established chemical-handling procedures and use required PPE.
• Inspect storage or dispensing equipment and report leaks, damage, or safety issues.
• Assist with maintaining warehouse inventory and organizing chemical products and supplies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep the delivery vehicle, warehouse, and chemical-handling areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide Positively Outrageous Service.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Texas Wash Works is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Chemical Delivery Specialist to deliver vehicle wash chemicals and related supplies to customer locations. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, unloading, and documenting deliveries while providing professional and courteous customer service. The position may also assist with chemical inventory and the inspection of chemical storage or dispensing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, deliver, and unload vehicle wash chemicals and related supplies
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while communicating delays or customer concerns to the appropriate manager
• Verify products, quantities, labels, and delivery locations before leaving the warehouse and at the time of delivery
• Obtain customer signatures or other required proof of delivery
• Complete delivery records, inventory documentation, mileage logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required paperwork accurately and on time
• Follow all company, manufacturer, customer-site, and applicable transportation requirements for handling and transporting chemicals
• Review and follow product labels, Safety Data Sheets, and established chemical-handling procedures
• Use required personal protective equipment when loading, unloading, transferring, or working around chemicals
• Inspect containers before delivery and promptly report leaks, damage, spills, labeling concerns, or other safety issues
• Follow established spill-prevention, containment, and reporting procedures
• Assist with transferring or replenishing customer chemical supplies when required
• Inspect chemical storage or dispensing equipment and report visible leaks, damage, low product levels, or operating concerns
• Assist with maintaining warehouse inventory and organizing chemical products and delivery supplies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Keep the delivery vehicle, warehouse, and chemical-handling areas clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide Positively Outrageous Service
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Previous delivery, warehouse, route-driving, chemical-handling, or customer-service experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate the type of delivery vehicle assigned to the position
• Ability to read product labels, Safety Data Sheets, delivery instructions, and customer documentation
• Ability to follow delivery routes and use a smartphone, GPS, or other electronic delivery system
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Basic math skills for confirming product quantities and completing delivery records
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned delivery schedule

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, load, and unload products weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to safely move heavier containers using carts, dollies, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment
• Ability to frequently enter and exit a delivery vehicle and sit or drive for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to work around vehicle wash chemicals, delivery vehicles, warehouse equipment, and wet or slippery surfaces while using required protective equipment
