Cametoid Technologies in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Chemical Conversion Coater / Vapor Degreaser to support coating operations. The role involves vapor-degreasing components, running Type I & II conversion coatings on aluminum parts, and ensuring proper rack, rinse, dry, and documentation on the process sheet.

The position requires full-time, on-site work, ability to stand for long shifts, and compliance with drug screening, background checks, and ITAR considerations.

Formación

• Wet-process experience preferred; ability to stand for full shifts.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• ITAR awareness and U.S. person export controls as required.
• On-the-job training to shop certification in degrease and conversion.

Responsabilidades

• Vapor-degrease parts and panels before coating and during standalone cleans.
• Operate chemical conversion coating (Type I & II) on aluminum parts.
• Rack, rinse, water-break, dry, and document on the process sheet.
• Maintain baths, PPE, and cell cleanliness; hand off status at shift change.

Description

• Vapor-degrease parts and panels before coating (and standalone cleans)
• Run chemical conversion coating (Type I & Type II) on IVD aluminum–coated parts
• Rack, rinse, water-break, dry, and document on the process sheet
• Maintain baths, PPE, and cell cleanliness; hand off status at shift change
• Wet-process experience preferred; full-shift standing; drug screen + background
• May work ITAR articles — U.S. person / export‑control awareness as required
• On‑job training to shop certification (degrease and conversion)
• $25/hr
