Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Rome, GA is seeking a dependable Material Handler/Compounder to support production on the plant floor. You will compound batches, follow batch tickets, operate equipment and ensure product quality while using required PPE.

The job requires basic math, attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good teamwork. Forklift certification and Hazmat knowledge are a plus; clean shaving is required for respirator fit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.**Compound batches and follow instructions provided by batch tickets and or Supervision.**Ability to wear a respirator and proper PPE as required by the job and remain clean shave as well as adhere to the hair/grooming policy as requirement for wearing a respirator for proper fit.Ensure that attention to detail and the quality of the product is adhered toAbility to move controls to adjust and operate equipment/valves to fill totes and drums that the flow of liquids/products through equipment is being followed to specified directions, according to knowledge of equipment and processes.Routinely inspect equipment for leaks or other hazards to check for production and equipment malfunctionsResponsible for adhering to the required PPE and safety guidelinesParticipate in inventory countingAbility to work the hours as specified and as needed, standing for long periods of time on the production floor under extreme conditions of hot or cold temperatures on the production floorPackage materials into a variety of containers per customer specificationsResponsible for ensuring equipment is returned to its proper placeEnsure that quality is up to required standards**Essential Qualifications and Skills:**To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort or effective and appropriate collaboration.
