Job description

Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

1. Safely handle, store, and apply chemical cleaning agents according to safety guidelines and procedures.
2. Perform chemical cleaning of equipment such as pipes, tanks, heat exchangers, and other industrial systems.
3. Monitor the cleaning process to ensure effectiveness and compliance with safety standards.
4. Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
5. Record details of cleaning operations, including chemicals used, procedures followed, and results achieved.
6. Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Identify and resolve issues that arise during the cleaning process.

Required Skills and Competencies

1. Must be dependable, willing to work additional hours as required and be team oriented.
2. Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
3. Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous and industrial settings.

Minimum Education and Experience

1. 1-year industry experience working in a refinery, petrochemical, utilities, etc.
2. Knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures.
3. Acceptable MVR/Background Check and pass pre-employment screenings.
4. Valid TWIC Card.
5. CDL with endorsements preferred.
6. Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment.
7. Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customer and other Miller sites as needed.
8. Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
