Job summary

BCI Surface Technologies in Hamburg, PA, is seeking a flexible Operator to join our chemical blending and warehouse teams. The Flex Operator will perform production and warehouse duties, follow batch tickets, and participate in safety programs to ensure high quality and compliance in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Candidates must be able to read and follow technical instructions, operate forklifts safely, and lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Read and write technical information on batch tickets and records.
• Experience with forklift operations in a chemical manufacturing setting preferred with certification required.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety protocols, willingness to learn PPE procedures.
• Able to lift and move 50+ lbs safely and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow batch ticket instructions: understand material/equipment needs.
• Organize and kit raw materials.
• Accurately measure, weight, dispense, & blend wet and dry chemicals into a mixture.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Log, scan, and track inventory by product and location.
