Job summary

Monogram Aerospace Fasteners has an entry-level Plate Helper LG 5 position in Commerce, CA. You will perform washing, cleaning and drying of parts, prepare solutions, and transport parts between departments in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Under supervision you’ll operate chemical processing equipment, monitor and adjust solution levels, maintain safety and housekeeping, and contribute to team efforts to improve quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Ability to read and write English as required by shop documents and software entry.
• Ability to perform mathematical operations with fractions and decimals to exact tolerances (±0.0001).

Responsibilities

• Washes, cleans and dries production from all product lines and maintains cleaning solutions.
• Transports parts to and from various locations in the departments and operates processing equipment.
• Maintains fluid levels and makes chemical adjustments to keep solution mix correct.
• Operates equipment such as overhead crane, parts washer, tumble barrel, salt cleaner and centrifugal dryer.
• Keeps work area clean, follows safety rules and participates in team activities to improve processes.
