Job description

Job Title: Assistant Squash Director
Reports To: Squash Director and Athletic Director

Primary Purpose: Opportunity to be a significant contributor as part of a fast-growing program in a squash hotbed in Fairfield County, CT. Responsible for developing and servicing adult and junior squash programming for CPCT with the Director of Squash.

Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate with Director of squash to help run exceptional programming. Instruct private lessons, clinics, and help run events including summer camp and school programming.
  • Assist with Adult Programming including tournaments and special events, including Ladies, Men’s and Doubles clinics and leagues.
  • Coach Junior Programming and communicate with clientele.
  • Recruit junior players and nurture all players in the program.
  • Assist with tournaments and special events including U.S. Squash sanctioned tournaments (junior bronze, silver and gold events at CP) and CP member tournaments.
  • Communicate with members and non-members on programming and events.
  • Communicate with members and non-members about upcoming events, registration, and general information.

Work Schedule: Full or Part-time position. Weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends as needed.
