Job summary

Morrison Living is seeking a Chef Manager/Director in Chandler, AZ to lead training initiatives, oversee food programs, and coordinate special events with account Chefs and team members. This role emphasizes culinary leadership and collaboration across departments.

Key responsibilities include menu development, cost control, and ensuring food safety and quality. A culinary degree and management experience are strongly preferred, with ServSafe certification supporting compliance and excellence.

• Culinary degree or equivalent with foodservice management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards for all Food Programs, workplace safety, and food safety.
• Develops menus, controls costs, purchases, and inventory with local sourcing focus.
• Applies knowledge of catering trends, quality, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Chef Manager/Director will be responsible for assisting in training initiatives, food programs, special events, account openings and refreshes with account Chefs and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards for all implemented Food Programs, workplace safety and food safety
• Demonstrates proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food production.
• Utilizes knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Culinary Degree, or comparable four year culinary development experience
• 5 years of relevant culinary experience; At least one year of culinary management experience
• ServSafe Certification
• Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
