Join Canteen North America as a Chef Manager (Business Dining) in Wood Dale, IL. This full-time position offers a salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year plus a yearly bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee culinary and food service operations, ensuring success in both areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire culinary operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Maintain knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • Develop menus, control costs, and manage purchasing and inventory, focusing on local sourcing
  • Promote sustainability in operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • At least three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings with inventory and purchasing expertise
  • Strong understanding of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, food costs, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L and contract service experience is desirable
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
