Job Summary

We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee culinary and food service operations, ensuring success in both areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all culinary aspects of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
2. Maintain knowledge of P&L accountability; experience in contract-managed services is desirable.
3. Develop menus, control costs, and manage purchasing and inventory, focusing on sourcing local food products.
4. Promote sustainability in food sourcing and operations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of HACCP standards.
2. At least three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings with inventory and purchasing expertise.
3. Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality standards, sanitation, food costs, and presentation.
4. Experience with exposition cooking.
5. Understanding of P&L management; contract service experience is a plus.
6. ServSafe certification is advantageous.
