Location: Modern restaurant located in Brooklyn

Position Overview: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a kitchen management role, with a strong background in a la carte restaurant / hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stock management
  2. Variances
  3. Stock reporting

The successful applicant must possess excellent staff management skills and must be capable of leading a kitchen brigade. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in:

  1. Food cost
  2. Kitchen hygiene
  3. Kitchen administration

The restaurant is seeking a candidate with a hands-on management style and the ability to multitask.

Salary: R 12 – 16 K net plus performance incentives.
