Job summary

CocuSocial is seeking experienced Chef Instructors to lead hands-on cooking classes in Sacramento. You’ll teach in partner venues like hotels, breweries, cafés, and event spaces, delivering engaging, beginner-friendly sessions and sharing culinary knowledge.

Ideal candidates have professional culinary backgrounds and prior teaching experience, with strong communication skills and comfort engaging groups of up to 26 guests.

Qualifications

• Passionate about food and excited to share culinary skills with others.
• Professional culinary background.
• Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or other instructional environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the entire class experience, including ingredient purchasing, setup, instruction, and cleanup.
• Create a fun, engaging, and beginner-friendly learning environment.
• Teach classes in a hands‑on, interactive format.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the event.
• Represent CocuSocial professionally while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
