Job summary

CocuSocial is looking for Chef Instructors to lead hands-on cooking classes in Chicago, hosted at unique partner venues like hotels, breweries, cafés, and event spaces. You’ll have creative freedom to teach cuisines you’re passionate about and help guests enjoy engaging, interactive experiences.

Ideal candidates have professional culinary backgrounds and prior teaching or instructional experience, with strong communication skills and comfort presenting to groups up to 26 guests.

Qualifications

• Professional culinary background.
• Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or other instructional environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the entire class experience, including ingredient purchasing, setup, instruction, and cleanup.
• Create a fun, engaging, and beginner-friendly learning environment.
• Teach classes in a hands‑on, interactive format.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the event.
• Represent CocuSocial professionally while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Our classes are hosted at unique partner venues including hotels, breweries, cafés, and event spaces. We create memorable culinary experiences for guests of all skill levels, and we’re looking for talented chefs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge in an engaging, interactive environment.
