Overview

A family of seven with homes on the Upper East Side and the Hamptons seeks an experienced Private Chef to join their household staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate menus with Mrs. and the House Manager.
• Purchase healthy, fresh, organic food supplies.
• Stock refrigerators, pantries and kitchen with required items.
• Prepare family‑style dinners, formal dinner parties (up to 50 guests, with additional guests as needed), children’s parties, meeting snacks, cocktail receptions, business breakfasts, lady’s luncheons, etc.
• Organize BBQs, pool parties and other events in the Hamptons during the busy summer season.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and inventory.
• Collaborate with housekeepers, nannies and other staff to ensure smooth household operations.
• Travel occasionally to an additional property in California.

Location and Schedule

• Manhattan residence: Sunday–Thursday; Hamptons: Thursday–Monday with flexible hours.
• Potential travel to California property.

Compensation

• Salary $150,000 per annum.
• Fully paid health insurance.
