About us - Ko wai mātou: Marlborough’s largest tour operator, Marlborough Tour Company, has positions based at Punga Cove Resort and Furneaux Lodge. Due to our remote location, applicants must live onsite and be ready to start work from 1st September.

Punga Cove and Furneaux Lodge are accessible by boat from Picton and are located right on the Queen Charlotte Track, making them popular stops for walkers, mountain bikers, and boaters. We pride ourselves on being a unique offering nestled on the Queen Charlotte Track.
These are fixed-term positions until May 2026. We are seeking an energetic Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen teams. Our menus are based around seasonal produce, highlighting artisan products produced locally in Marlborough. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, learn from the best, and contribute to creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests.
Being a team player is essential. A high level of English is required for good communication in a busy kitchen. Respect, good listening skills, work ethics, and flexibility to work across different locations are important.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and the right to work in New Zealand. Sponsorship opportunities are not available.
