Chef / Cook Supervisor team members assist with assuring the healthand well-being of our residents by being involved in directpreparation of food for service to residents. They are alsoresponsible for functions related to recipe use, production levels,quality control and supervision of wait staff / dishwashers.Specifically, the Chef / Cook Supervisors must:

  • determine and prepare appropriate food quantities for each meal
  • maintain safety and sanitation standards at each stage of mealpreparation and service, including serving temperatures and times
  • assist in care, maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment
  • supervise all staff on assigned shifts, including responsibilityof the completion of staff tasks
Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age required; HS diploma orequivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of food protection principles; ability to follow andprepare modified diets
  • Ability to carry out cooking tasks at a safe and efficient levelof performance
  • High degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene required
