Join Arrow Senior Living as a Part-Time Cook at The Rushwood Senior Living, located at 2121 N 143rd Street E., Wichita, Kansas 67230. Enjoy a starting wage of $20 per hour with a schedule on Fridays and Saturdays, 10am-6pm.

About the Role

1. Prepare Menu Items: Follow established standards and recipes to deliver high-quality, attractively presented food in a timely manner.
2. Maintain Hygiene and Safety: Follow health protocols, ensure sanitary food preparation, and maintain proper food temperatures.
3. Engage with Residents: Learn residents' preferences and participate in orientation to foster connections.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Current Food Handlers Card as per Department of Health requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working near extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and freezers.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors for events.
• Must be criminally cleared.
