Job summary

Lammermuir House Care Home in Dunbar, East Lothian, is seeking a Chef to join a busy kitchen team. Previous kitchen experience is essential, and candidates should be mindful of food hygiene standards.

The role offers 28.5 hours per week at £14.04 per hour, with PVG paid, pension and uniform provided. As part of the kitchen team you will prepare and serve high quality meals tailored to residents' dietary needs, assist with menu planning, and help maintain a clean, well organised workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a professional kitchen environment is essential.
• Food Hygiene certification or understanding of food safety standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the wider kitchen team.
• Good organisation skills with ability to manage food preparation and maintain high standards.
• Reliable, professional and hardworking approach with genuine passion for quality food preparation.

• £14.04 per hour
