Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a hands-on Chef to support dining services and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in our Dublin, OH community. You will ensure quality meals, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with the dining team to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Current ServSafe Certification and a hospitality-focused degree or equivalent experience are preferred; on-site role with full-time hours and competitive benefits, including health, retirement plans, and growth

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience in various phases of food service operations.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Dining Services Director in maintaining high resident satisfaction, cost controls, sanitation standards, employee training, and providing quality food and service to the residents.
• Responsible for the day to day kitchen operations.
• Monitors and enforces safe food handling practices.
• Participates in conducting food inventory.
• Experience in various phases of food service operations is preferred.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.
