Job description

Cheesemake Production Assistant (1st Shift)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic Production Assistant to support our Hard Cheese Make team in crafting high-quality cheeses. The role involves working Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with some overtime as needed. Compensation starts at $19.48/hour, with full benefits and monthly bonus opportunities.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm

Overall Responsibilities: Assist in the hard cheese making and packaging processes to produce the highest quality cheeses.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Cheese Make Supervisor and team to complete tasks within production areas.
  • Operate equipment in cheese making and packaging, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Assist with production runs, document procedures, and ensure consistency and safety.
  • Conduct product tests, record results, and adjust processes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, perform sanitation tasks, and document sanitation schedules.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and product quality.
  • Promote company values and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
