Job summary

Prairie Farms is seeking a Cheese Quality Inspector in Luana, IA. The role involves inspecting cheese products to ensure they meet quality, safety, and production standards, with a 1st shift from 7am to 5pm, Mon-Thurs.

Wage is $19.96/hr and location is Luana IA. The Inspector will check appearance, texture, color, packaging, dates, and seals, report defects, and maintain production records while following sanitation and quality-control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to identify product quality issues.
• Reliable, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive inspection tasks for extended periods.
• Previous food production or quality-control experience is preferred but not required.
