Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy seeks a Packager (General Laborer) in Mindoro, WI to perform cheese packaging tasks per company standards. Pay is $20.69–$21.69 per hour with a typical starting time determined by the supervisor.

The role includes following GMPs, operating packaging equipment, and assisting with training and inventory tasks. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, good English communication, and flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.
• Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily packaging schedule in a cost-effective manner.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Complete required paperwork and reports accurately.
• Adhere to GMP, safety and sanitation procedures.
• Train new packaging staff for job-specific tasks.
• Maintain proper packaging and labeling for each product.
• Operate the Infinium System for inventory tasks.
• Attend job-related classes or seminars.
