Job summary

This position is extra pay, with compensation ranging from $1,114 to $2,658 depending on qualifications. Candidates must complete required coaching certifications within their first year.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association approved course in the care and prevention of athletic injuries by the end of the first year of coaching.
• Must earn Accredited Interscholastic Coach certification from the National Federation of High Schools by the end of the first year of coaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an athlete-centered coaching philosophy.
• Identify and model positive values and behaviors through sports.
• Design and implement training and conditioning programs.
• Monitor environmental conditions and injury prevention.
