Job summary

The University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS is hiring an Assistant Coach - Cheer to support the planning and direction of the cheer program. You will assist the Head Coach with skills, recruitment, and retention of student-athletes, while promoting USM's mission.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years related experience coaching cheerleading.
• 2-3 years experience coaching tumbling preferred.
• Able to work nights and weekends with travel.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain driver certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and direction of the cheer program.
• Assist the Head Coach with skill development for athletes.
• Recruit and retain quality student-athletes.
• Assist with inventory management of equipment and uniforms.
• Support athletic department promotions, fundraising, and recruitment efforts.
• Assist with game and event management for USM athletics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
