Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors for Adelphi, MD. Lead engaging sessions for elementary students, following a provided curriculum and using supplied music and equipment.

In-person, part-time, Monday–Friday, with 1.5-hour sessions at $45 per session. Ideal candidates include dance instructors, former cheerleaders, fitness instructors, PE teachers, or youth coaches who enjoy working with kids and can transport to Adelphi schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheer, dance, gymnastics, or coaching preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable with students in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to Adelphi area schools.
• Must complete Prince George's County background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead cheer and dance sessions for elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities.
• Teach age-appropriate motions, routines, rhythm, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
• Communicate with school staff and BBA leadership.

Cheer & Dance Instructor (After School) – Adelphi, MD

Location: Adelphi, Maryland (Prince George's County)

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead fun and engaging cheer and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Adelphi, MD.
