Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. seeks energetic, part-time Cheer and Dance coaches to teach elementary students in after-school programs across Prince George's County, including Capitol Heights.

Join a team that helps kids stay active and engaged through structured activities. Sessions run 1.5 hours, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with no lesson planning required as curriculum and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheer/dance or related activity is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with elementary students (K-5).
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Teach Cheer and Dance activities to elementary students.
• Follow BBA Afterschool's curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive after-school environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

Cheer and Dance Coach (After School) – PGC (Capitol Heights)

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary-aged students in fun, structured enrichment programs throughout Prince George's County.

This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, youth development, kinesiology, exercise science, recreation, dance, or physical education. If you enjoy working with children and creating a positive, active learning environment, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently hiring coaches to teach Cheer and Dance programs.

Part-time, after-school position

Monday through Friday

Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

1.5-hour sessions

$45 per session ($30 per hour)

No lesson planning required
