Job summary

Walmart is hiring for a Front End Checkout associate at our Alma, MI Walmart Supercenter. As a team member, you will help customers, ring up items, process payments, and maintain a welcoming register area while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling or register experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and provide friendly customer service.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, ring up items, process payments, and assist shoppers at the register.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with bagging when needed.
• Provide a positive, helpful attitude to ensure a great shopper experience.

Job description

Hourly Wage: $14 - $27 per/hour

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
