Job summary

Kinney Stores is seeking a retail cashier to accurately ring out customer purchases, handle cash transactions, and provide excellent service at the checkout area. The role includes replenishing inventory, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness across checkout spaces.

The position requires basic experience, strong numerical accuracy, and the ability to assist with large purchases and deliveries when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred: 0-1 years in a related position.
• Accurate cash handling and ability to provide correct change.
• Ability to operate POS and complete end-of-shift procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ring out customer purchases using POS and process cash/check/credit.
• Provide accurate change and close out register at shift end.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry out to vehicles.
• Replenish inventory and merchandise checkout area.
• Maintain store cleanliness and handle phone inquiries.
• Assist in inventory, price marking, and ordering replacements.
