Edwards Food Giant & Edwards Cash Saver is seeking a Cashier to provide excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.

You will scan items, handle cash and card payments, process returns, assist customers, bag groceries, and ensure safety and policy compliance. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred; strong math, communication, and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Strong communication and positive customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scan and ring up items quickly.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions and provide correct change.
• Process returns, exchanges, and gift cards per store policies.
• Assist customers with questions and information.
• Bag groceries and keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow policies for age-restricted items and balance the register at start/end of shift.
• Report discrepancies to management and maintain safety.
