Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Cashier in Virginia Beach to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get great value. You’ll answer questions, process payments and exchanges, and support other departments as needed.

Most time is at the register, with potential to assist in stocking or other tasks. If you enjoy helping customers in a fast-paced setting, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting information)
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with/without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned
