Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
• Reads and records totals on cash register and verifies cash.
• Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.
• Operates cash register, scans items, and shows cost, tax, and rebates.
• Verify cigarette count with shifts; follow policy for carding: alcohol and cigarettes.
• Responsible for pricing/displaying of received goods.
• Check-in vendors and ensure delivery before signing receipt.
• Operate lottery machine.
• Clean and stock the store; stock shelves and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
