Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Checker at Store 061 Dallas Fort Worth-8th Ave to join the Store Operations Team. Under the Front End Supervisor, you will maintain outstanding customer service, process sales quickly and accurately, and handle cash register operations.

This fast-paced grocery environment requires bending, standing, and lifting up to 60 pounds, along with bilingual Spanish/English communication with customers and co-workers. Equal employment opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information clearly to customers and employees.
• Be able to bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker maintains outstanding customer service, processes sales quickly and accurately, and performs cash register operations.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure proper transaction handling in a fast-paced grocery environment.
